Zoom Introduces New Features Across its Workplace Platform

Zoom has introduced a broad set of new features across its Zoom Workplace platform.

The update includes the launch of the Custom AI Companion add-on, Voice Recorder, Tasks, and Custom Avatars, along with new capabilities across Zoom Meetings, Zoom Team Chat, Zoom Whiteboard, Zoom Revenue Accelerator, and more.

Jeff Smith, Head of Product for Workplace AI, Meetings, and Spaces at Zoom, said: “Last month, we announced that AI Companion now includes a set of agentic skills so it can understand, plan, and get things done with minimal input from the user.

We’re further delivering on that promise by launching Custom AI Companion, agentic AI, and many other features. We continue to push the boundaries of innovation to bring our customers the very best AI-first solutions that drive productivity and collaboration.”

Users can now manage tasks across Zoom apps, capture summaries from in-person conversations, and generate video clips using AI-generated avatars.

Additional enhancements support meeting productivity, team communication, and sales processes, while new offerings are tailored for frontline workers and healthcare professionals.
