On Halloween the contact centre team at Brighton-based Spokenfor Ltd came to work dressed in some ghastly attire, taking their October fundraising total for Chestnut Tree House to just over £300.
The company has chosen to support the Sussex-based Chestnut Tree House throughout 2012 by the contact centre staff taking part in themed days and sponsored events such as the Brighton Marathon.
The Halloween spirit was evident across the calling floors, with telephone agents making and taking calls in some truly ghoulish costumes, with customers blissfully unaware of their shocking appearances. The company’s Recruitment Manager, Bethan Jones, added to the fundraising total by selling her ghost-, spider- and witch-themed Halloween cup cakes – every one of which were gobbled up by the Spokenfor spooks.
Gavin Miller, Managing Director of Spokenfor says:
“We’ve got a motivated team at Spokenfor and they never fail to surprise me with the lengths they will go to in aid of Chestnut Tree House. During October we ran four fundraisers and on every occasion the staff got on board and made each event a success. Halloween was ‘frightfully’ good!”
