NewVoiceMedia has won a place on Red Herring’s Top 100 Europe list, which honours the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the European business region.

NewVoiceMedia was presented with the award at an evening ceremony on Wednesday 25 April, following presentations given by each of the finalists at the Red Herring 100 Europe conference. The conference was dedicated to celebrating successful technology entrepreneurship in Europe, highlighting how innovation is creating business opportunities for challengers and incumbents alike.

Finalists were evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, including technological innovation, management strength, market size, investor record, customer acquisition and financial health. The editorial team also reviewed each company’s history to produce the list of businesses it views as the best in Europe.

Jonathan Gale, CEO of NewVoiceMedia, said: “Red Herring is a long-standing and highly respected brand in the technology industry and we’re delighted to be selected as one of Europe’s Top 100 companies. As a UK technology business, we were in the minority among the finalists, which makes winning this award even more exciting and prestigious. We know there’s a great deal of innovation in the technology industry that focuses on the move to cloud-based solutions. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to have our drive for innovation and commitment to our customers recognised in this way.”

“Choosing the companies with the strongest potential was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “After rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across Europe to the Top 100 Winners. We believe NewVoiceMedia embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. NewVoiceMedia should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was the strongest it has ever been.”
