National Planning Conference

A one day conference, focussing on the needs of planners and managers.

THE DESCRIPTION:

The day, specifically focused on the needs of planners and managers as well as business leaders, offers a mix of sessions – including a chance to hear from all the winners and those highly commended in the 2015 National Planning Awards.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to find out what is new from community experts and learn new tips in practical workshops, and to hear from inspirational speakers such as Nicola Millard, an expert at BT, on the changing face of online and omnichannel.

Specialist streams can be chosen on Planning for Digital, Back Office and People Planning. Other new material will include Volatility & Flexibility, Field Operations and Driving Productivity.

Business leaders are also invited to join from 4pm for the afternoon and evening keynotes. Michael McQuillan, Director of The Business Institute at Ulster University, will be speaking about how talent management needs to be a completely integrated strategic practice and highlights the critical importance of ‘getting it right’. Darren Lawrenson, a public speaker and performance coach will focus his attention on how leaders can help drive change through thinking and behaviour.
