Call Centre Helper’s very own Operations Manager, Jo Robinson, is training for the London event this May.

The MoonWalk London 2023 is the iconic, original and fun night-time Walk organised by grant-making breast cancer charity Walk the Walk!

By fundraising for this amazing, fun challenge with thousands of others, Jo is helping raise awareness, invest in prevention, and supporting those living with breast cancer and other cancers.

As Jo comments:

“Along with my team members, I’m doing the MoonWalk on 20th May 2023, which is basically walking a marathon through the night to raise money for breast cancer. The 20th May is a significant date for me so I’m also doing it for personal reasons. I know times are tight but if you are able to donate anything at all, then that would mean so much.”

Walk the Walk came into being in 1996 when just 13 women power-walked the New York City Marathon in their bras to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.

What started out as a one-off fundraising event has blossomed into a thriving multi-million pound charity, raising to date in excess of £100 million for vital breast cancer causes.
