The BSc in ‘Customer Contact Planning and Management’ has been shortlisted for Best Training Programme.
The judges of the 2013 Irish Contact Centre and Shared Services Awards were looking for an innovative and strategic training programme that has had a real impact on the performance and results of an operation. It was also important that the programme demonstrated best practice and innovative methodologies and thinking in both the design and implementation, taking into account current and future needs of the operation.
“To be shortlisted by a peer group of judges is an endorsement that the programme is a major step forward in the professionalisation of roles within the customer contact environment”, said John Casey, Operations Director at the Professional Planning Forum. “We have already seen our first graduates emerge from this programme and are absolutely delighted with the reaction that we have received from the industry.”

The BSc in ‘Customer Contact Planning and Management’ is a hugely exciting opportunity for contact centre planners, analysts and managers to gain externally accredited academic qualifications.
It was created in partnership with the University of Ulster and through consultation with an industry steering group. Students can study a range of programmes from a single stand-alone module, leading to a certificate, diploma or full BSc Honours degree.
The formal degree is delivered through an online teaching environment comprising webinars and calls, directed reading, exercises and discussion forums, in addition to specialist face-to-face workshops that are made available to students.
