Lifetime Achievement award winner, Philip Vanhoutte, has released a book called ‘The Smarter Working Manifesto’.

The book has been written in collaboration with Guy Clapperton, and it explores the practicalities of granting your employees control over their own workplace and timetable.

It presents practical real-life examples, as well as arguments for why businesses should allow employees to decide the best place and time to work for them.

‘The Smarter Working Manifesto’ is broken down into 5 key chapters:

  • Find Your Space
  • Going Virtual With Impact
  • Teaming While Apart
  • The Smarter Professional
  • The Smarter Organisation

Philip Vanhoutte

“This isn’t your typical book about flexible working and letting employees work from home. It gives actionable guidelines to make a shift in management philosophy possible,” said Philip Vanhoutte, VP and Managing Director at Plantronics. “From my first-hand experience, building a smarter working environment for a multinational corporation is not easy. But, overwhelming positive change is possible. I wish I ‘d had a book of this sort when we started.”

The book is available on Amazon.
