Azzurri Communications has launched its new Network Operations Centre.

The Network Operations Centre has been created to deliver an improved level of service and support to Azzurri’s customers, especially those using the ICON Services.

The facility based in Burnley employs 76 people, including three local apprentices who joined the business last year.

The investments in automated monitoring and management systems help Azzurri to monitor customers’ fixed and mobile networks, unified communications and contact centres.

The company’s engineers can view customer solutions, their component parts and the performance of third-party suppliers. This enables Azzurri to manage applications and devices on a customer’s network for improved uptime, security and efficiency. Service degradation and outages on suppliers’ networks can also be mitigated before they affect customers’ operations.

The new Network Operations Centre builds on the company’s collaborative approach to managed services. By taking care to understand customers’ business, priorities and infrastructure, Azzurri can offer more reliable managed communications services.

“The new network operations centre highlights the investment we make in going beyond customer expectations,” said Chris Jagusz, CEO of Azzurri Communications. “Our collaborative approach to developing managed services means that we can mitigate the impact of component failures, specific to each customer’s needs.”
