For those trade show junkies out there, UC Expo took place on 5th and 6th March at London Olympia.  Over the past 4 years there has been a growing contact centre focus to the show, with over a dozen contact centre vendors taking part this year.

A range of contact centre suppliers exhibited, including  Ctalk, RedBox,  Plantronics, Aspect, Jabra, Noble Systems, Touchbase, Enghouse,  Siemens and Shoretel.

Aspect Software is bringing its social media platform for customer engagement to the UK and launching it at the show.  The cloud-based tool, Aspect Social, brings Facebook, Twitter, blogs and online communities to the customer service desk, and features full integration with voice, email, chat and SMS customer interactions.

Jabra will be unveiling the latest additions to its UC headset portfolio.  They will also be showcasing their two new products, which are optimised for use with all UC applications:

  • Jabra SPEA 510 Bluetooth speakerphone – designed for office professionals with everyday needs for audio conferencing.
  • Jabra MOTION UC Bluetooth multiuse headset –headset for the mobile business user who undertakes calls via UC applications or uses a variety of devices.

There is also the chance to win a Jabra SPEAK 510 Bluetooth speakerphone, by entering their free prize draw.
