Growing demand for voice short codes has allowed Orca Digital to be ranked 33rd in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100.
Alongside other high-growth London-based technology companies such as Lycamobile and Wonga.com, Orca Digital is emerging as one of the capital’s key success stories. Behind Orca Digital’s growth is strong demand for its voice short code products, which enable enterprises to provide a more memorable and price transparent contact number for mobile phone users, as well as growing interest in its multi-platform broadcasting and event streaming solutions.
“It has been an incredible three years for Orca Digital, yet I can only see even greater opportunity in the years ahead as smartphones and other portable media devices continue to drive greater mobility and more digitally enriched entertainment services,” comments Will Neale, CEO at Orca Digital. “It truly is a great time to be involved in the technology industry and we’re very excited about the months and years that lie ahead.”
London companies continue to dominate the league table, with 50 Tech Track 100 firms headquartered in the capital.
