Headset allows for automatic transfer of calls to mobile

Avtex Smart Forward Agent application has been developed to provide users with additional functionality when they use the Plantronics Voyager Legend UC headset with Microsoft Lync.

By using the location information the Legend provides about how close a user is to their PC while wearing it, Avtex Smart Forward Agent can automatically turn the Lync Call Forwarding or Simultaneous Ring features on when the user walks away from their PC.

By automatically turning on the Call Forwarding or Simultaneous Ring feature when stepping away from their PC, or turning it off completely – users can communicate the most up to date presence to contacts and maximize the Microsoft Lync experience.
