Contact centre members Anthony Broughton and Sean Simons from Novacroft have used their own time to design and develop a website for charity Mencap Northampton.

Web design is something that Anthony and Sean are passionate about, and this opportunity to use their skills to help Novacroft’s Charity of the Year 2012 appealed to them from the beginning.

Anthony and Sean said: “Working with Mencap Northampton proved to be a very rewarding experience. It gave us the opportunity to support the local community, utilising the skills developed through working at Novacroft. We hope that Mencap Northampton finds their new website useful.”

The website is  managed by Mencap Northampton authorised users, giving the charity a valuable means of communicating with the local community, as and when they need to, in a way never previously available to them.

Novacroft’s Managing Director, Debra Charles, was so touched by their dedication (Anthony and Sean estimate that the work took them approximately 50 hours) that she has donated £500 in their names to Mencap Northampton, in recognition of their efforts.
