The community-spirited staff at the 250-seat contact centre Spokenfor Ltd donated over £345 worth of clothes, books and CDs to the company’s charity of choice – Chestnut Tree House, the children’s hospice for Sussex.

The bags were collected over a period of two weeks and stored at the Brighton-based contact centre until collected by Chestnut Tree House on 10th February.

The company, which employs 200 people from Brighton and the surrounding area, has chosen to support the Sussex-based Chestnut Tree House throughout 2012 and make it the Spokenfor charity of choice.

Gavin Miller, Managing Director of Spokenfor, says:  “Once again the Spokenfor team have shown great support for Chestnut Tree House and I am confident that this will be a continuing theme throughout 2012. Spokenfor is committed to raising as much money as possible for our charity of choice, which is the only children’s hospice in Sussex.”

Sally Dempster, Retail Office Manager for Chestnut Tree House, said:  “We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Spokenfor team for all their efforts to join in with our Bag It and Give scheme.  Every donation helps to raise the much-needed funds for Chestnut Tree House, and without the support of companies such as Spokenfor we would not be able to continue providing our specialist care services for life-limited children and families across Sussex.”
