Agents raise over £1,000 for charity

Agents at one call centre have celebrated a year of fundraising by presenting a cheque to Macmillan Cancer Nurses.

Since January last year, staff have taken part in such events as fancy-dress Halloween celebrations and regular “£1 to dress down” Fridays at Journeycall’s Brechin and Laurencekirk offices.

“At the beginning of 2013 it was decided that Macmillan Cancer Nurses would be our very deserving charity, so it is with immense pleasure and thanks that I can announce that Journeycall has raised a whopping £1,500, including contributions from staff and the company,” said Theresa Wishart, Operations Director at Journeycall. “I have personally received Macmillan nurses’ care and attention, so I am delighted to be able to present our donation as a small contribution to help Macmillan with their excellent work.”
