2Touch has appointed Ann Lazenby as Recruitment and Training Manager.

Ann, who has over 15 years’ worth of experience in the recruitment sector, brings with her a wealth of expertise in people management, planning and training to help roll out a streamlined programme throughout the company.

With close to 1,000 staff, the company is one of the largest private sector employers in the North East.

Ann said: “I am thrilled to be working at 2Touch, I have a strong background in this sector, having previously worked for recruitment company Pertemps as National Operations Manager for BT and as National Accounts Manager for British Gas.

“The team spirit at 2Touch is fantastic and there is a great emphasis on nurturing and developing talent, which is something I am extremely passionate about.

“I will be heavily involved in coordinating the planning and training across the company, exploring all recruitment processes to enable us to identify and build on peoples’ key strengths and assess which roles would be most suitable.

“We currently ‘meet and greet’ all potential employees, which helps us to get to know their personalities and enables us to draw out their skill set, ensuring they are in a role that is most beneficial to them.

“Such is the company’s passion to nurture talent that we want to be able to address any gaps in the skill set between advisors and management, whether this is in analytical skills or development and coaching, by offering a training programme aimed at our next generation of managers.”
