Zoom has announced its plans to acquire Bonsai.
Founded in 2015, Bonsai provides tools for managing projects, client relationships, invoicing, and payments within a single workspace.
The acquisition aims to broaden Zoom’s offering for small business users by combining communication, collaboration, and business management tools in one platform.
Following the close of the transaction, Bonsai will continue to operate as a standalone product under its existing brand.
Over time, Zoom plans to integrate Bonsai’s features into its platform to give users a unified experience for managing both client communications and business operations.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2025.
